How to get here

Kosice  can be conveniently reached by air, train, bus and car through Prague, Vienna, Budapest or Bratislava.   

By air  

The international airport is located about 6 km from conference venue and the city centre.

From Prague (PRG) there are scheduled flights to Kosice 4 times a day operated by Czech Airlines. The flight takes 1 hour and 25 minutes.  

From Vienna (VIE) there are scheduled flights to Kosice twice a day operated by Austrian Airlines. The flight takes 1 hour and 5 minutes.  

From Bratislava (BTS) there are 3 flights to Kosice a day operated by Danube Wings. The flight takes 1 hour. 

From Budapest (BUD) airport you can take airport shuttle to the railway station Keleti. There are direct trains to Kosice. The journey takes 3 to 4 hours. 

By train

Travel by train to see the countryside and captivating natural sights. Generally, the train fares are very low. The train network in Slovakia is well developed, and trains are the most comfortable way to travel. By car

Kosice is situated on the crossroad of important European routes E 50 (in direction west – east of Slovakia) and E 71 (in direction north – south of Slovakia).
